He joined the\n\ncompany in 2014 in his current capacity.\n\nHe serves as a director of Canpotex Ltd.\,\n\nThe Fertilizer Institute and the International\n\nFertilizer Association and is also a member\n\nof the Canadian Council of Chief Executives\n\nnd the C. D. Howe Institute.\n\n\n\nMr. Tilk came to PotashCorp after a 30-year\n\ncareer in the mining industry\, most recently\n\nserving as President and CEO of Inmet\n\nMining Corp.\, a Canadian metals company\n\nwith operations and projects in numerous\n\ncountries around the world\, between 2009 and 2013.\n\n\n\nDuring his 24 years at Inmet\, Mr. Tilk helped\n\nrow that company's market capitalization\n\nthrough asset optimization\, organic growth\n\nnd strategic acquisitions. He led a multi-billion\n\ndollar capital expenditure program   including\n\nnew mine developments in Spain and Central\n\nAmerica   and helped establish a portfolio of\n\nassets that was recognized as a leader\n\nn quality and cost.\n\n\n\nMr. Tilk is a mining engineer and holds a Master's\n\ndegree in engineering.\n\n\n\nHe is a passionate runner and a strong community\n\nsupporter. In 2013\, he served as the Honorary Chair\n\nof the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation's Ride to\n\nConquer Cancer.
