He served as a Board Member on the US-India Educational Foundation from 2014 to 2016.\n\nAs a diplomat\, he has served in Indian Embassy in Beijing twice (1998-2001 and 2010-2013)\, London (2004-2007) and Tehran (2007-2010). In New Delhi\, as Under Secretary and Director\, he has dealt with countries including China\, Nepal and Bhutan.\n\nHe holds a Master's degree in War in Modern World (WiMW) from King's College London and a Master's degree in Linguistics from Jawaharlal Nehru University\, New Delhi.
