Tim Tompkins works to understand and improve cities through SharedCitySharedSpace. He teaches about cities at New York University, led the Times Square Alliance from 2002-2020, founded Partnerships for Parks, and is the past Chair of the International Downtown Association. He has degrees from Yale and Wharton and has lived in New York, Paris and Mexico City.
