Evan spent nearly three decades in policing, including seven years as Regina’s Chief of Police, 
earning a reputation as an accessible and trusted leader. His work with government, community 
groups, and everyday residents informs his perspectives on leadership, connection, and where 
Saskatchewan is headed. Born and raised on a family farm near Abernethy, he brings a grounded 
understanding of rural life and a lifelong commitment to the province.

Why can Evan be the voice of Saskatchewan? 
Bray was born and raised on his family farm near Abernethy in southeast Saskatchewan, and still 
farms today. He has a deep appreciation for his rural roots and a strong love for the province. 
Evan’s career in policing spans almost three decades, including seven years as Chief of Police. In 
his time as an officer for the city of Regina, Evan was highly regarded as an effective, respected, 
and accessible leader. 
Evan has worked closely with governments, leaders and grassroots community organizations to 
understand the challenges people in Saskatchewan face. He’s connected to people from every, 
single lived experience, and pulls a lot of viewpoints together. 
Evan has a deep sense of who Saskatchewan people are. People want his predictions and his 
perspective of where the province is going. 
Evan’s hard-working nature is unmatched and he knows what it takes to be successful and 
reinvent himself. He is passionate about speaking to his experiences in leadership, business, 
connection and community. 
Evan lives in Regina with his wife, Jodie. He has two grown children, Cy and Ella, and two grandchildren
